Many businesses blog when they have less time, a general knowledge of the internet, Facebook, and/or attaching items to emails. The business's that don't blog, but rather have a site developed from scratch, have an extensive knowledge of managing a site, folder management, html, and know various image software programs such as Photoshop. Businesses can effectively use blogs to promote their business and products. Others might blog instead of creating a site of their own, if they are a club or organization or perhaps so that not as much training is required when passing the site along.
A person can blog personally as well. A great way for a person to put a blog to good use would be to use it as a digital resume for potential employers to view. It's beneficial by showcasing previous works that have been completed and talents within design, writing, photography, etc.
